Here is our club committee for 2019-2020.
Dave Yates – Chair and Club Coach
Dave has been practising kendo since 2011 and currently holds the rank of 4-dan. Dave has a level 1 coaching qualification, is DBS certified and is a qualified first aider with St John Ambulance.
Caroline Brown – Treasurer
Caroline joined the club in April 2019 as part of the club’s very first intake and currently holds the rank of 1-dan. Caroline is DBS certified and is qualified for children’s emergency first aid.
Mat Lowcock – Secretary
Mat joined the club in July 2019 and holds the rank of 1-kyu.
Thomas Green – Membership Officer
Thomas is one of the club’s under-18 members. He joined us in July 2020 (when we had to train outdoors!) and holds the rank of 2-kyu.
