Here is our club committee for 2019-2020.

Dave Yates – Chair and Club Coach

Dave has been practising kendo since 2011 and currently holds the rank of 4-dan. Dave has a level 2 coaching qualification, is DBS certified and is a qualified first aider with St John Ambulance.

Tom Naylor – Treasurer

Laine Merchant – Membership Officer

Tom and Laine both joined us in 2023 and hold the rank of 1st kyu and 2nd kyu respectively. They are keen members of the competition team and working towards their Dan grades.

Caroline Brown – Secretary

Caroline joined the club in April 2019 as part of the club’s very first intake and currently holds the rank of 1-dan. Caroline is DBS certified and is qualified for children’s emergency first aid.
